BECOME A MASTER GARDENER The mission of the Master Gardener Program is to provide current, research- based, home horticulture information and education to the citizens of Iowa through Iowa State University Extension programs and projects. Through their participation in educational activities, Master Gardeners also increase their own personal knowledge in horticulture. Master Gardeners in Clinton County have helped local day cares, taught plant propagation to area youths, assisted with tours and plantings at the Bickelhaupt Arboretum, conducted plant partner clinics, created the Victorian Garden at the Curtis Mansion and are creating an outdoor living classroom at the Clinton County Fairgrounds. Are you interested in becoming a Master Gardener? Contact the Clinton County Extension office at 563-659-5125 for more information or go to www.extension.iastate.edu/clinton.
