Bickelhaupt Arboretum Gets a Facelift

On May 5, 2007, volunteers from Lyondell Chemical Company in Clinton, and Prince of Peace school students worked to provide the arboretum with a face lift. Two projects were launched to improve the arboretum.

Lyondell's Global Care Day saw volunteer workers helping to construct a replacement bridge over the waterfall at the arboretum. The Lyondell employees were one of three teams that participated in this project that had thousands of Lyondell Chemical Company employees around the world patricipating. Many thinks to Lyondell and it's volunteers.

From fencing to weeding, planting to pruning, the Prince of Peace students who shared their time and talents with the Arboretum May 5, made quite the difference. The fence really sets off the south side of the grounds and has elicited many comments already. Many thanks to Prince of Peace school and students.
